I am having sound/mic issues. What should I do?
For Windows systems, first verify the system isn’t muted by 1) checking whether the F1 key is lit up or not, or by 2) checking the speaker icon bottom right in the taskbar. For Mac, verify the system isn’t muted by checking the sound icon/slider in the upper right corner of the desktop.
If there is still no audio, verify the specific app/site being accessed (Google Meet, Zoom, Youtube, etc.) doesn’t have sound disabled/muted by double-checking the app or site's audio settings, making sure videos aren’t muted, etc.
If issues persist, submit a ticket via the IT Service Portal or send an email to servicedesk@freightwaves.com with thorough information about the specific audio issue being experienced, along with what steps you have already taken to try and remedy the problem.
